A typical circuit board chemical cleaning line usually includes the following parts:
Pre-cleaning area: This step uses solvents or detergents for initial cleaning to remove oil and other loose contaminants from the board surface.
Chemical Cleaning area: In this area, chemical cleaning agents (such as acidic or alkaline solutions) are used for deep cleaning to remove welding residues, oxides, and other contaminants. These cleaning agents are usually used in conjunction with water and temperature to improve the cleaning effect.
Ultrasonic cleaning area (optional) : Some high-precision circuit boards may use ultrasonic cleaning technology to remove stubborn contaminants more efficiently through the vibration of ultrasonic waves.
Rinse area: The cleaned circuit board needs to be thoroughly rinsed with deionized water (DI water) or pure water to remove residual chemical cleaning agents and contaminants.
Dry area: The cleaned circuit board will undergo a drying process, usually using hot air, vacuum drying or drying equipment to ensure that there is no moisture residue on the surface of the circuit board to avoid affecting the subsequent process.
Detection area: Sometimes, the cleaning line is also equipped with a detection device, such as an automatic visual inspection system, to check the cleaning effect and ensure that the circuit board has no residual contaminants or damage.
