PCB sandblasting machine is a device used for surface treatment in the circuit board manufacturing process. It jets fine sand (such as quartz sand or emery) to the surface of the circuit board through high pressure air flow to clean, remove the oxide layer, deburring, thickening the surface and so on.
The working principle of the sandblasting machine is to use compressed air to spray sand particles at high speed to the surface of the circuit board, which is usually operated in a fully automatic or semi-automatic way, which can greatly improve production efficiency and ensure uniform processing. Sandblasting machines are often used in the pre-treatment and post-treatment stages of PCB (printed circuit board) production.
Its main uses include:
Surface cleaning: Remove dirt, oxide, solder residue on the surface of the circuit board to ensure good electrical performance.
Deburring: Remove burrs at the edges or holes of the circuit board to prevent electrical short circuits and conductive problems.
Coarse surface: The surface is roughened by sandblasting to improve the adhesion of the copper coating or other coatings.
Removal of residual materials: Clean up excess materials left over from the production process, such as excessive coatings, impurities, etc.
